Financial aid and subsidies
to install IRVEs and
photovoltaic power plants

As part of its energy transition framework, France has chosen the objective of reducing CO2 emissions by 37.5% by 2030.

If you have a parking lot open to the public, you have the obligation to equip 5% of your parking spaces with charging stations for electric vehicles by the end of 2024.

In order to help you comply, the French state has put in place multiple mechanisms of financial aid and subsidies which you can claim: the ADVENIR subsidies, as also tax credits.

If you also want to install photovoltaic panels, you can benefit from an investment premium.

The ADVENIR program
for parking lots

Starting on April 1st 2022 until the end of the year, the installation of charging points open to the public benefit of an aid rate of up to 50%. The amount of ADVENIR premium is limited depending on the power of the charging point.

The eligibility conditions for the ADVENIR premium :

  • Take charge of the supply and installation (connection upstream of the delivery point) of the charging point.
  • Only the charging points serving a parking space dedicated to charging can benefit of an ADVENIR premium
  • The signing of a maintenance and monitoring contract with DRIVECO for minimum 36 months is mandatory

Tax credit for individuals

You can request the tax credit for the energy transition when you install a charging station for electric vehicles at your main or secondary residence.

The credit amount corresponds to 75% of the amount of the expenses incurred, with a limit of 300€ per charging point.

Specific conditions :

Specific conditions for this premium :

  • Degressive and variable depending on the power of the installation
  • Spread over the first 5 years of the photovoltaic power plant operation
